Layering Chloe.

Chloe dress and justfab heels

Hi there friends!!! Good morning! Another night of sleep YES! Sorry for the sleep updates but I had to. I figured out part of the problem there. My little has a sound machine that he has needed off and on since he was a newborn and it was turned off and forgotten to be turned back on at night. WOW. Turned it on 2 nights in a row and he only got out of bed once for water and then back to bed. YAY! I shall take that small victory.

The outfit, yesterday I wanted to wear an ultra femme dress and just love it. I pulled out my Chloe dress from the closet and grabbed a basic tee. Layering here in FL doesn’t always happen, but this layering I can do! Grabbed my Justfab heels and a basic black COACH bag. Which is not pictured.

I love this dress so much, the feel of the silky fabric. It is silk after all and the different ways you can tie the front is just magical. It fits like a dream and accents the waist really well. The strap details are gorgeous, hell the whole dress is gorgeous!

CHLOE dressI am so happy I got this dress when I did on The Real Real. Because I love it! It is that Elsa blue that we love and it is just a great dress for many different occasions.

Chloe and justfabSatins are very in this spring and summer and I plan on utilizing that trend as much as the sequins one. I have that silly skirt from this post about sequins in my cart still, need to get it.  Wearing dresses like this with such skinny straps can be a bit daunting and if you do not like that, you can just go the 90’s route and wear a tee under it. Or go without the tee and get a good strapless bra. Like I did in this post here(edited this to add this.)

I wasn’t sure if I was going to take these pictures yesterday, it was looking really gloomy and was getting ready to rain. And I wanted to take them at a different spot. But that didn’t happen. SO, I debated and my little decided for me. Hahaha, the only draw back with him being out with me is he likes to move the tripod.I am sure my neighbors think I am very narcissistic when I am out with my tripod and standing in front of it, like look at me. Oh-well. This is my career and really I shouldn’t care but I always wonder…hahah.

I am going to hopefully get a post up on the blog this week about how I style my mop. Hahah. It has been hard to do, with “help”

That IS a cute dress! I would do it sans the tee. I think it would look so good! Thank you so much for this outfit update!

I love that I instantly understood the reference to Elsa blue 🙂 makes me a feel a little younger and more in touch with your generation GRIN when I used to do shoots in front of my garage door, I’d always have sunglasses on. My thought process went along the lines of, “If I’ve got shades on, they can’t recognise me so I’m all good!!” It helped take the awkwardness away, I swear!!!

Hahah I always end up back by the garage door when I have a little who just wants to be around the house to take pictures,it is easier for both of us. Especially when I do it all myself (the photos.) He helps and by helping I mean moving the tripod right when the timer goes off. AHAHAHAHHA

What fun layering, and such a gorgeous dress! I’m a big fan of sound machines too–we have one in both kids’ rooms. Of course, my 3 year old still gets up at night when it’s on (not last night though, hallelujah!)… sigh 😉
