So I’ll let you in on a little secret. This is not a dress. It looks like one, but it isn’t. It is a skirt and shirt! WHA????! Yes. I love this look to fake a maxi dress. The trick is same colors. I picked a navy blue shirt and a navy blue maxi skirt. So if you want the maxi dress look but do not have one. Just fake it! I have a lot of maxi dresses but I wanted a more solid color of one. And I do not have one. So, I made one, just without using a sewing needle!
I love this maxi skirt from Shabby Apple. They have some of the most awesome skirts! Have you seen their tulle skirts? Just wow. WOW.
The great thing about an outfit like this is I didn’t want to stop shooting it!!!!! I love the flowiness of the skirt and the tank made it perfect for the transition for fall. Even though our transition happens later here.
I love this, although this morning when I went out the door, my makeup was done, bruise covered, but no hair done, no jewelry on. Usually after I drop the wee one off at school I go to do my blog shoots. But, I had to go straight home and get the rest of the “GLAM” on. It was a hard day to wake up, I know part of it is head injury related.
The other was a 3 yr old and husband that didn’t want to get it together today.
I just witnessed a squirrel fall off the building I was standing in front of. It was ok. ME? ALmost died from laughing.
I love this outfit a bit much and why not?!!!!
