Styling a Tulle Skirt

NEwchic Tulle skirt and HM dress

Hi there my friends! How are you this fine Thursday!!! I hope all is well on your ends. Me? I’m alright. While the rest of the country is mourning the end of the election. I personally want it all to be over and done with. I am sad too, but I wont let that get me down forever. Benefit of the doubt right?I got a family to take care of and that needs my attention more than politics. And that is all I will say about that. Lets all take a deep breath and realize WINTER IS COMING. AS well as…..

Ahahahahahaha.....hahahahaha...:

Come on that was funny. Hahahahaha

OK, so today’s outfit of the day was based around a tulle skirt and a great H&M dress that I turned into a shirt, just by putting the skirt over it. And I also learned something about this H&M dress.

HM dress and Newchic skirtI learned that this dress can be off shoulder…WHAT?! Well look!

off shoulder dress

Although it would look better if I took the time to style it off my shoulders and had a strapless bra on. But wow, owned this dress for 4 years almost and never realized that!!!! Wow, go me. OK, so this skirt is the tulle skirt I wore in this post here . And that was a great outfit and I love that I can wear those pieces separately and it looks great! And who doesn’t love a tulle skirt? I know I do! I love it! And styling it is a breeze. When you style a tulle skirt it doesnt just have to be formal. It can be with a basic tee and sneakers if you like. ME? I love the glam side. But did tone it down with the shirt and I will style it again with another nerd tee. I want one that says “You know nothing Jon Snow” with a wolf on it. In black! Shein had one at one time but it sold out!!!!

Tulle is a versatile piece for your wardrobe and I wish more people would give it a chance! Give TULLE a chance! Most people like the shorter skirts and I do too, I had a bright purple skirt and that color looked better shorter. So I cut it to the knee and wow, I can not wait to share that. Although bright colors like that are trickier as they can make you look like you are clinging to youth and at *gasp* 32 I probably should tone it down. But then I go NAH. The only thing is I wish they put more tulle on this Newchic skirt. But other than that this skirt is an A.

How to style a tulle skirt

Today too I got some people staring at me while taking my own pictures. THe thing I remind myself is I am not bothering them, so they shouldn’t bother me. I tune out the weird glances and get back to business. When you take your own photos, it can get daunting. It can get intimidating, why? Um that reason. But, you have to get out there, you got to take your pictures and realize in this day and age with all the tech, like pft the selfie stick you really can just be a dork outside with a tripod and people will assume immediately YouTube or IG. OH WELL.

This is my job besides being a SAHM, I am a full time blogger. It is a lot of work. But It is fun work and it makes me feel great! And really quick, my shoes. they are sold out which sucks!

Come share your great style with my linkup every Thursday. A brand-new one was posted just yesterday. Would love to see you linkup.

Beautiful outfit, tulle skirts are so fun! I just got my first one and now you have me wanting to try it over my H&M striped dress! Lol! My dress is fitting, so I really thinking my tulle skirt would work over it! Thanks for the idea!!! 🙂 I do a lot of my photos in my backyard, but I hate when my neighbors come out and stare! Ugh! I wish I could do my blog photos in my own personal bubble!

This is such a fabulous look, Stephanie! I love that you paired the tulle skirt over a dress. How fun! And good for you ignoring the wayward glances while photographing yourself! I always feel so funny when people are looking it me posing in front of my rigged up phone! Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge.
